The residence also welcomes KAPS, shared accommodations with solidarity projects.
The Solidarity Project Shared Accommodations KAPS allow young people under 30 (students, young professionals, or in Civic Service) to live in affordable shared housing in the heart of a popular neighborhood. Together with their roommates, they commit to carrying out collective projects designed to foster connections between residents and strengthen social ties while supporting local community dynamics. These young roommates are trained and supported throughout their commitment by paid teams from Afev. This support aims to facilitate their welcome and integration within their neighborhood and to train them to assist in building their solidarity actions. Mentoring for children and young people in difficulty is also part of the Afev engagement pathway for the solidarity roommates in their neighborhood. Since 2009, these original shared accommodations have provided young people the opportunity to experience their living environment differently by actively participating in creating social connections and combating inequalities.
