Neurodivergent individuals represent over 15% of the global population, or one in seven.
In light of their underrepresentation in the professional world, the Interministerial Delegation for the National Strategy for Neurodevelopmental Disorders has published the guide "Neurodiversity in the Workplace: Rethink, Recruit, Deploy, Develop". This guide is intended for employers, HR managers, and team leaders.
The guide compiles over 80 best practices related to recruitment, support, and inclusion of talents. Among the examples, it recommends "ensuring that the sorting of applications does not exclude neurodivergent candidates" and "valuing and supporting the hierarchical progression of neurodivergent leaders by recognizing their skills and potential." These points are derived from over 80 interviews with experts and stakeholders conducted in France and abroad.
It is also about the company fostering collective intelligence and rethinking its recruitment processes.
